Two days ago MTV reported that James Cameron had met with Marc Webb to discuss the 3D possibilities for the new Spiderman reboot. Valentines Day – Review

Thanks to a complete misreading of the listings I wound up seeing Valentines Day last night and let’s just say I took the bullet for you. You don’t really need me to tell you that this was not a good film; it is obviously a film designed for a certain date, flimsily plotted with short barely connected stories and sprinkled with a few well known faces.

Spotlight On – hitRECord

Since the dawn of YouTube anyone and everyone has had the chance to become an internet star or moviemaker. Amongst the noise some work of quality has risen to the surface and brought success for their creators; Felicia Day’s The Guild web series is a prime example. A more collaborative effort was born three years ago from actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt’s blog at hitrecord.org and recently developed into a production company complete with a Sundance screening. Cameron Tries Writing

Along with planning an Avatar trilogy James Cameron is set to write a novel based before the first film, Jon Landau has revealed to MTV. The book will detail the back-story of Jake Sully, his colleagues and the Na’vi; clearly there just isn’t enough time in three films to tell the whole story. Read more »
